How does it work? News Alert Manager is an editor that allows you to create SRS News Feeds that you publish onto your website. These news feeds can be picked up by anybody who has the SRS News Alert Client installed. The News Alert client sits in the system tray in windows and regularly checks the website news feeds that the member of public has chosen to connect to. You do not need to handle subscriptions to your news feed as anybody using News Alert Client can access them. It is the public theselves who can connect and disconnect to your News Feed without any interaction with yourself. No special software is required on your website. All that is needed is approx 100kb of space to store the news feed files on your webserver. How would I send a News Flash out to my subscribers Just type the News Flash into News Alert Manager and click publish. Within minutes people who subscribe to your news feed will receive your News Flash directly on their desktop. How much does it cost? News Alert Manager costs $35.00 (approx £25.00 inc vat). There is no royalties to pay for the amount of News Flashes you send or for the amount of subscribers your news feed has. It is one up front price. The News Alert Client, the program that receives and displays News Feeds is free to all. A free 30 day evaluation period is available when you first download and install the software.
